Bleeding gums is the condition of the teeth which is characterised by the bleeding of gums due to the formation of bacterial plaque.
Bad breath is one of the first symptoms due to formation of plaque. Bleeding may be induced upon brushing and eating of hard food.
Some of the major causes for bleeding gums is deficiency of vitamins, gum disease and poor dental hygiene. It may be sometimes caused due to diabetes, pregnancy and deficiency of certain vitamins.
